Colder up North
Vacation sent us to Mount Snow in Vermont. Not very warm there! First day was faced with life closures and eventual mountain shut down due to wind.

Snow>Rain>Ice
Got a good dose of wet snow followed by a cold snap as we headed into “February Vacation”. All the runoff was solid, all the snowbanks solid, even just the snow on the lawn was solid.

Ice dam PTSD
Ice, rain and crummy winters – I’ll never forget the times in adolescence where the garage was strangely flooding and I maniacally attacked the ice with an AXE. What fun and silly inefficiency. This year, the ice started creeping into my adult-life garage. Nooo! I have the axe though..

Local Luge
Noah and friend spent quite a while on this through the winter. Most noteable feature – the drop at the end. Quite a few sore backs came as a result.. not surprisingly!

Out the window
Not a very common sight – maybe because we don’t have great winters anymore – but this icicle was hanging right out the bathroom window.

Worth a wait
Watching the sky, I saw a break in the clouds heading towards the full moon. Waited and waited, and glad I did. A cool sight as the moon threw some extra color out.
