Camp Morning
Lots of smoke around the camp sites in the morning – from smoldering fires overnight to morning fires for breakfast. But quite clear over the water. Beautiful weather made it hard to leave. Spiders and poisonous caterpillars (not pictured, no thanks!) on the tents however, made it much easier.

Wait, What?
Yup, Willy picked up a viola this year for school orchestra. And I guess it immediately cultured him, as he was spotted reading a BOOK later that day. (We must have lost power or something. )

No Thank You
What a feeling to look up at a tree down the road which you walk past 2-3 times a day, and you see THIS. It was huge, and very very busy. And, of course, the inhabitants were big and demonic looking. Later that same day, different creepy sight at the soccer field. Don’t see it?…

What You Don’t See
A small wrappable heating pad, for someone’s knee injury – immediately taken over by the dog. Perhaps there’s an untapped market of dog therapeutics. Regardless, this thing is really awesome for any pain, as it turns out. Shoulder, back, belly, whatever. And so far, it hasn’t caught fire – which I’ve always assumed devices like…

Butternut Mac
Sure, it sounds like a seasonal gimmick – but it really is tasty. Willy in fact demands it constantly, so there is quite a stockpile in the basement freezer. Worth a try!

Clever marketing over at Heinz of late. Who knew anyone would need fancy single serve packets. Big points for the THEC. Wait, is NJ considered a fancy packet or trashy one? Hmm. Either way, I found this hilarious.
