Day 18 – Bright
The Hunter’s Moon. Pretty bright. I learned at some point that shooting the moon requires the same settings as shooting in sunlight. Because.. the moon is reflecting sunlight. Meaning when you SEE the moon, it is broad daylight up there. And likely darkness where you are.

Day 16 – Red
Red – some very long lasting , and once brought back from the dead, New Guinea impatiens – picked up on sale at the beginning of Summer at Ace Hardware.

Day 12 – P is for
A pathetic harvest. This summer made for the the worst gardening I’ve ever dealt with. Stupid tomatoes didn’t even ripen till the frost hit. I blame the pine trees.

Day 4 – Amber
These big ferns are always good for a picture. Today their color mostly matched the “amber” that I needed.

Day 3 – Rule of Thirds
Artistic challenge today – the good old Rule of Thirds. Not the best example, but it counts.
