    Too much dough, not enough time, so we made some.. Christmas vacation cookies. Still the same dough problems – no structure! But flavor was spot on thanks to the special vanilla confectioners sugar. And yes, everyone washed their hands.. A LOT.

    Went to a Christmas lights show the day after – and with snow on the ground, who is complaining (ok, you can guess who).. Some pics of Winter Lights up in Stevens-Coolidge House. Lots of really great light installations – from strings to floods to everything else. Especially cool with some snow on the ground.

And yes, there’s a outdoor speaker blaring Christmas music for several days here.. its very tame for Xmas Eve though.

    Tried to put a spin on the crescent cookies – by going gluten free for Kim. Little did I realize, these things would not hold their form very well. So the crescents became.. blobs. Delicious blobs, at least. Just not good enough to share – next year!

    Orchestra. Too bad it wasn’t the opera – but probably good that it wasn’t! Kim got the 4 of us tickets to the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas show. Lots of good Christmas spirit there.. and a nice location for some Boston views.
