Fall Oddities
First, a missing USB cable is found in the leaves. Then Patrick visited. Probably the only good footage of Noah’s costume comes from a security camera.. that fits.

Falling into October
Yup, yesterday’s post was about summery geraniums.. here, leaves start covering the lawn and mums appear on the step. Kind of a crossover season.. like Summer and Fall at the same time.

Dis Too Early
Fall started early this year – the excessively beautiful weather through the end of Summer, and utter lack of rainfall made the maples dump leaves very early. Then it continued for 6 more weeks..

Day 11 – Leaves
Well, a nice day in October doesn’t always mean raking leaves. Here.. a whale leaves a plume of water as it spouts! Yep, that was an awesome day! Never thought I’d have any sort of WHALE sighting from land.

Day 7 – Green
Last day of green for now.. the Andromeda was hopeful that winter would eventually end.

Day 5 – Best photo today
This was the best of the day. Saw this Japanese maple on my way to work and had to stop to shoot it.. the interesting light and great color made for a very nice shot, if I do say so myself.

Day 26 – Harvest
Not exactly what comes to most people’s mind when they think “harvest”. But, it is what it is (a massive leaf harvest).

Day 16 – Curly
I’m 90% sure this ever-struggling plant is Aglaonema – aka Chinese Evergreen. Since it never seems very happy, its always a little curly.
