Day 21 – Space
A shot of (part of) Cassiopeia. Shortly thereafter, I bought an AC adapter for the camera. Shooting stars is not easy.

Day 19 – O is For
“O is for”.. The offensive orange caterpillar.. ruining the Montauk daisies for the bees and wasps.

Day 18 – Bright
The Hunter’s Moon. Pretty bright. I learned at some point that shooting the moon requires the same settings as shooting in sunlight. Because.. the moon is reflecting sunlight. Meaning when you SEE the moon, it is broad daylight up there. And likely darkness where you are.

Day 16 – Red
Red – some very long lasting , and once brought back from the dead, New Guinea impatiens – picked up on sale at the beginning of Summer at Ace Hardware.

Day 14 – Columbus Day
As a reminder, I am about a month behind on posts here, which is why Columbus Day is appearing late in November. That said.. would Tex Mex food exist, if Columbus never arrived?

Day 12 – P is for
A pathetic harvest. This summer made for the the worst gardening I’ve ever dealt with. Stupid tomatoes didn’t even ripen till the frost hit. I blame the pine trees.
