I Love Costco
On the left, a 10″ mum from a local garden center. Price, about $10. On the right, a ’12” ‘ mum from Costco. Price, about $12. And it is not done expanding yet. I don’t see a tag, but I believe the Costco mum requires raw meat, instead of Miracle Gro.

Another Sign of Fall
Pumpkin Beer. Boosted the colors a bit, but this looks about right. For some odd reason, someone thought it appropriate to add cinnamon/sugar to my Smuttynose Pumpkin – my first of 2011. Desperate for a photo today? Perhaps. Missed a spectacular sunset while parking for this train – that’s what it would have been. Too bad. Yeah, and its not even a train since you are not supposed to photograph the MBTA. Sheesh.

‘Yak’n
Finally got to break out the new kayaks. Got 2 Emotion Glide boats from Amazon – shipped free courtesy of Amazon Prime. Can’t beat that. Weather and water conditions: fantastic. And its quite nice to have the ‘extreme cam’!

I don’t know how big a peck of pickled peppers is, but I think I might find out soon. This is one of.. 20 or so jalapeno plants in the garden. They all waited until recently to really start producing.
